I am getting a “missing data” notification on my campaign. Why is this happening?

You will receive that alert if your email sequence is using Merge Fields that are not available in the contact database or Merge Fields that contain no data.

You will receive that alert if your email sequence is using Merge Fields that are not available in the contact database or Merge Fields that contain no data. Check that the Merge Fields in your email template are correct and formatted the same way as any custom fields you may have created when uploading your data.

If you see this in your dashboard, click Fix. The system will automatically route you to the contact or set of contacts that have missing data.



Here you will see the exact contact/s that has/have missing data. Each contact is tagged as MISSING DATA and if you scroll to the right, you will find the exact column where you need to put in the missing detail, it's usually highlighted in red.


Once you enter the missing detail, Wavo will automatically change the contact status to OK. This prospect is now back in the sequence.
